ABOUT ME

My name is Wisi  - I am not only an artist, but also suffer from migraines myself. In my creative work, I have found a way to process my personal experiences with this challenging illness. It may sound paradoxical, but I experience a special creative intensity before migraine attacks. I use these moments of inspiration to create unique works of art. My works are created from a mixture of emotions, colors and shapes that reflect my feelings during migraine attacks or for migraine in general.

However, my mission goes beyond individual processing. Through my paintings, I want to raise awareness of migraine and promote understanding for those who live with this invisible challenge.

Each of my artworks tells a story that not only reflects my personal experience, but also points to the broader issue of migraine. It is my hope that my artwork is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also helps to educate the public about the multi-faceted reality of migraine and inspire empathy for sufferers.

10% of the sales of each painting will go to the non-profit organization www.migraineaction.ch

Why Wisi-Art?

Rehab clinic

As my migraines became more severe, they forced me to stay in a sanatorium. In this distress, I unexpectedly found solace through art therapy. Painting proved to be a liberating expression of my migraine-related emotions. The canvas became my outlet. Creativity is always very strong before a migraine attack. The sanatorium became not only a place of healing, but also my introduction to the world of art.

Birth of Wisi Art

Inspired by the power of art therapy, I founded Wisi-Art. This platform was created to showcase and sell my migraine-related artwork and to pursue projects in the field of art. "Wisi-Art" not only symbolizes my personal suffering, but also stands for the resilience that art has given me. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the works on "Wisi-Art" will go to the charitable organization www.migraineaction.ch.

Wisi-Art thus becomes a bridge between art, therapy and social commitment.

Future

Life, Art & Migraine

Through measures such as MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), mindfulness, meditation and progressive muscle relaxation, as well as the discovery of art, my approach to myself has changed fundamentally. These practices enable me to accept migraines and lead a more conscious lifestyle. Mindfulness helps to minimize stress, while creative self-expression through art allows me to channel my emotions. This holistic approach allows me to function well in my life despite migraines.
